You know, BTS made a guest appearance on Seo Taiji's 25th anniversary special concert on September 2. The concert was held at the main Sports Complex in Seoul, and the concert drew a total of 35,000 audiences.
At the concert, BTS members performed some of hits of Seo Taiji with him. Suga and Rap Monster performed "I know", and Jimin and J-Hope performed "Deep into the night" and "You, in fantasy". And V and Jungkook showed impressive dance performance by performing "Hayeoga". Jin sang "To you". And all the members performed "Class idea" and "Come back home" with Seo Taiji. Well, BTS members looked really excited when they performed together with the legendary singer, and yeah, they did great. As always, their performance was very powerful and energetic.
And a notable thing about BTS' guest appearance on Seo Taiji's concert is that BTS proved again the boy group deserves to be loved by so many fans. As I mentioned, BTS members did really great at the concert, and they were as good as the original Taiji Boys members, Yang Hyun Suk and Lee Juno. It's never easy for k-pop singers to do such a good job when they perform other singers' songs. Especially, yeah, when they perform famous songs of legendary singers. However, BTS members could do it better than expected because they have outstanding singing and dancing abilities.
And one more thing. BTS is currently preparing for its comeback and world tour, which means the members have been very busy doing their own works. However, the faithful and sincere members have practiced performing Seo Taiji's songs really hard because they had strong responsibilities for what they did at the concert. Unlike some of the other idols, BTS members always do their best, and that's one reason why they could become one of the most popular k-pop idol groups.
Then, do you know why Seo Taiji chose BTS as his partner to perform with at his 25th anniversary special concert? Well, as I said before, Seo Taiji wanted to give his 25th anniversary concert a special meaning. He wanted to bring the generations together through his concert, and to do so, he planned to collaborate with a young k-pop singer. By the way, he can't collaborate with just any singer, right? He was a cultural icon in the 90s, and he wanted to collaborate with a young singer who can represent 2010s because a collaboration between two cultural icons of different time periods can bring the generations together. So, Seo Taiji chose BTS as the cultural icon in the 2010s, and he decided to collaborate with BTS even before the boy group won BBMAs Top Social Artist award.
