By the way, it's notable that Japanese media outlets are now scrambling to report about TWICE's huge popularity in the country because it shows that the girl group is really popular in the country.
NTV's "News Zero" recently aired a video about TWICE, stating "We did an in-depth coverage of TWICE, who recently made a debut in Japan and is creating a sensation. The girl group is especially loved by young female Japanese, and the girl group's debut album topped Oricon chart".
The program, which did an in-depth coverage of TWICE for three months added "Many fans feel sympathy toward the TWICE members because they became one to realize their dream even though they're from different countries".
And Billboard Japan said "TWICE's debut album sold over 137,000 copies within in a week, being ranked second on the album sales chart. There were only two albums which sold over 100,000 copies in the week, which means TWICE's debut is that much successful. TWICE's popularity is increasing all over country, and it is because of the girl group's cute music video and TT pose".
Sports Hochi, one of the most famous Japanese media outlets also reported about TWICE's huge popularity in the country, stating "TWICE's successful debut signals the start of k-pop boom in Japan. TWICE is now the Asia no.1 girl group, and there are three reasons why the girl group is so popular in Japan. First, they do catchy dances such as TT dance, Sha Sha Sha dance and Knock dance. Second, all of the members are pretty. Third, they're so witty that many fans love them".
