IU and PSY put on a show at a military camp for Lee Seung Gi


IU and PSY performed at a military camp for Lee Seung Gi, who is currently serving in the military.

On June 30, IU and PSY took part in the 40th-year anniversary special concert for Jeungpyeong 13th Airborne Brigade. Lee Seung Gi is the soldier of Jeungpyeong 13th Airborne Brigade, and the three k-pop stars performed a variety of songs to boost the morale of the troops.


Lee Seung Gi has a special bond with both IU and PSY. Lee Seung Gi and IU made a guest appearance in PSY's concert held in 2014, while PSY is the composer of Lee Seung Gi's debut song "Because you're my girl".

After singing "Palette", IU congratulated Lee Seung Gi on his promotion, stating "This is the first time I've performed at a military camp for 5-6 years". And Lee Seung Gi said "I'm an entertainer too, but my heart flutters when I see her. It's a blessing to be able to see her".

The Korean hip hop duo that consists of Choiza and Gaeko is regarded as the representative hip hop artist in Korea, while the two met in the 6th grade of elementary school and have a long standing history of being friends.
