Q. You made a comeback with your new song "Cherry Bomb". How do you feel?
Jaehyun: We worked really hard to prepare for our comeback. I think the song is our best ever, so please look forward to it.
Taeyong: "Cherry Bomb" is a sexy and powerful song. I'm sure you will think the song is very new.
Q. So, are you confident about the success of the song?
Doyoung: When I listened to the song for the first time, I felt like we could become the best performance group in the world of k-pop. We practiced our choreography for 9 hours a day, and I'm sure we'll show great performance on the stage. And the song has a catchy hook too. The more you listen to the song, the more you will love the song.
Jaehyun: I was so amazed when I just listened to the beginning of the song.
Taeyong: I thank Lee Soo Man because he worked so hard for us.
Q. Tell me about the choreography of "Cherry Bomb".
Taeyong: Famous choreographer Tony Testa designed the choreography, and he wanted us to express great new feelings of the choreography. "Restrained Sexy" is the concept of the choreography.
Mark: We had to modify the choreography many times, and I think that's why we could complete a perfect choreography. Among all the dance moves, I like a movement with my legs spread apart.
Johnny: Actually, it's a very dangerous movement. We have to stretch a lot, and our pants could be torn. Mark's pants were torn again and again when we were filming our music video, haha.
Yuta: When we practiced the choreography, we always said it's our best ever choreography. I hope you think so too.
Q. The dance moves are very vigorous. How do you maintain your physical strength?
Haechan: Yeah, the choreography requires a high output of physical energy. We stretch, and we do push-ups too.
Q. It's notable that Mark and Taeyong took part in writing 5 out of 7 tracks of your new album. So, Mark and Taeyong, which is your favorite among the 5 songs?
Mark: I like "Cherry Bomb" best. I put so much work into writing the lyrics, and I thought of the other members as I was writing it because the song is our new title song. Even though it took me a long time to finish the piece of work, it was a memorable experience.
Taeyong: I like all the songs, but I like "Cherry Bomb" best too. I modified my lyrics many times.
Q. Mark, you've appeared in "School Rapper". How was it?
Mark: I always received great energy from the other members, but when I appeared in the program, I had to do it all by myself. So, I was so happy when I was preparing for our comeback together with the members.
Q. What's you goal?
Jaehyun: We want to show our development and growth. And we aim to win a no.1 trophy of a music chart show.
Doyoung: We're still a rookie, and I think we still have great potential. We'll never forget our first time, but we'll try hard to become a better group.
