Big Bang's Daesung Tops Japanese Music Charts with his Solo Single

Big Bang's Daesung topped various music charts in Japan with his solo single 'Rainy Rainy'.

According to YG entertainment, the album released on June 11 is gaining immense popularity in Japan, taking over No.1 places of Japan's major music charts such as iTunes and Mu-no.

The album has a total of 4 songs including the title track 'Rainy Rainy'. It is notable that Daesung personally took part in writing lyrics of the song. The album also includes two new Japanese songs and Japanese versions of 'Try smiling' and 'Look at me'.

Daesung kicked off his solo arena tour 'D-LITE DLive Tour 2014 in Japan' in Yokohama Arena, and will visit various places of a total of 8 cities such as World memorial hall of Kobe, Marine Maesse Fukuoka, Nippon Budokan in Tokyo, and Osaka Jo Hall, drawing more than 170,000 audience.
Meanwhile, Daesung will release his new solo album in Japan on July 16.
