Q. You released your first ever solo mini album. How do you feel? It's notable that you took part in writing all the 5 tracks of the album. Cheondung: Of course, I feel a little bit pressured but I'm very excited now. I've been studying songwriting for a long time, and I'm so happy that I got a chance to produce my album on my own. Q.  Where do you get the inspiration for writing your songs? Cheondung: Everywhere. I get the inspiration when I play with a cat, when I watch movie, and when I have a meal. Tiny-G's Dohee is embroiled in a controversy over her attitude toward her team. Lee Joon and Cheondung(Thunder) have wrapped up their activities as members of popular kpop boy group MBLAQ. On December 16, the two members's attorney announced, "As Lee Joon and Cheondung finished their concert held last November, the two members's contract with JTune Camp and their activities as members of MBLAQ have ended." And added, "Lee Joon will focus on filming his drama 'Mr. Back' and Cheondung will study music. The two are very grateful for the love they've received from their fans for last 5 years. They will do their best in return for their fans' love." Meanwhile, Lee Joon, who debuted in 2009 as a member of MBLAQ appeared on various dramas including 'Gap dong' and 'Mr. Back'. He is now regarded as one of the most promising young actors in Korea. Cheondung is well know as a younger brother of 2NE1's Sandara Park.

MBLAQ's Cheondung(Thunder) released his solo song. On September 5, the singer released his own composition 'Monster' through various online music sites. It has been about 6 months since Cheondung released his solo song 'Gone' last January. 'Monster' is a new jack swing music which has a attractive pop beat and electronic guitar sound. The lyrics are about a man who has an obsession about love. J Tune Camp, MBLAQ's agency, stated, "Even though Cheondung is not planning for promotional activities for 'Monster', fans will be able to see how well he writes his own song as a composer. Meanwhile, the MBLAQ members are working on writing their songs to be included in the group's upcoming album.

MBLAQ revealed a teaser video for its upcoming new song 'Be a man'. On March 20, the video was unveiled through the group's official Youtube channel. The song will be the title track of MBLAQ's 6th mini album 'Broken', and in the teaser video, MBLAQ members showed off understated sexy charm. 'Be a man' is the song about a man who is in the sorrow of parting. MBLAQ's new album will be released on March 24, while the group will hold a comeback showcase on the day.
