[Interview] TVXQ say they'll show their fans some real bromance
TVXQ is back. The duo held a press conference for their upcoming Asia tour in Seoul on August 21. The press conference was TVXQ's first official event in 2 years, and crowds of reporters gathered at the interview spot to cover the event. You know, the two members, who have recently been discharged from the army are going to kick off their "TVXQ! ASIA PRESS TOUR" soon. So, check out what they said.
Q. You're finally back. How do you feel?
Changmin: Well, I'm so nervous now because it has been only about a week since I was discharged from the army. Actually, I still feel more comfortable in my police uniform, haha.
Yunho: I think Changmin has become more handsome. And he became more mature too. I'm so happy that both of us came back safe and sound. We wanted to keep our promise, and I think it is the time for a new change that marks a turning point in our careers.
Q. You had a long hiatus. Which TV show do you want to appear in?
Changmin: There are a lot of TV shows we want to appear in, but "Knowing Bros" is our favorite because we can meet Kim Heechul and Kang Hodong there. And we want to break the typical image of ourselves through the program.
Q. How was your life in the army?
Changmin: I had a lot of time for self-reflection. I felt my family, friends and fans are more important than anything else. That's why I'm trying to be very nice to Yunho.
Yunho: Yeah, a friend in need is a friend indeed. Changmin is such a friend to me. You can expect our bromance.
Q. Both of you are in your 30s now. How do you feel?
Changmin: Actually, kids in our neighborhood do not know us. They think we're just tall gentlemen. I don't feel sad about it, but we'll try to be engaged in various activities to come closer to our fans. And we feel more responsible now.
Q. What do you want to say to young k-pop idols who are active in the k-pop world these days?
Changmin: I want to tell them that every moment is precious and they should do their best at every moment.
Yunho: I've been looking forward to performing on the stage again, and I sometimes learn from young idols. I want to tell them that sincerity is the most important thing.
Q. What's your goal?
Changmin: I'm in my 30s now, but people around me say I'm still young. I have a lot of things I want to do, and I have a lot of things I can do. I'll do my best at every moment, and I will never disappoint our fans.
Yunho: I've been trying not to forget our first time. I'll do my best in return for our fans' love. We used to have only one color, but now we have a variety of different colors. So please look forward to our shows.
Q. When will you release your new album?
Changmin: We're working on the album, and I think the album will be released at the beginning of next year. Of course, we want to release the album as soon as possible, but we're trying hard to make the album near perfect because we don't want to disappoint our fans, who have been waiting for us for a long time.
