PD of "School 2017" says Kim Sejung's acting is better than expected


On July 11, a press conference for KBS' new drama "School 2017" was held in Seoul. Gugudan's Kim Sejung also attended the press conference as a leading actress of the drama, while it's notable that the producer of the drama praised highly on her. Check out what the producer talked about the female idol.

Before beginning filming the drama, I've met a total of 200 rookie actors to select cast members. I think I've met all the actors in their 20s who wanted to appear in the drama. Frankly speaking, I didn't have much expectation for Sejung's acting because she is an idol singer. But, she did really great when we met for the first time. So I met her three more times, and I found out that she is not only faithful but also very talented. And she has bright energy too. She always asks a lot of questions about acting, and she studies her character really hard. She's so reliable. She has great potential as an actress, and I'm sure I'm not wrong.

Dynamic Duo released its new album. The Korean hip hop duo that consists of Choiza and Gaeko is regarded as the representative hip hop artist in Korea, while the two met in the 6th grade of elementary school and have a long standing history of being friends. Choiza and Gaeko started to work together through an underground hip hop scene named CB Mass and then came to establish Dynamic Duo in 2003.
