IU and PSY to hold their special concerts in Boryeong in July


IU is going to hold a special concert in Boryeong.

According to Boryeong city, the female singer will hold her concert in the city on July 28. IU's concert is part of Boryeong Mud Festival, while the organizer of the festival said "We invited IU because she is an icon of her generation who has both outstanding singing ability and great appearance".

Actually, IU is not the only one k-pop singer who will perform at Boryeong Mud Festival. On July 25, global star PSY will hold his concert, while it's the second time for him to perform at the festival.

Boryeong city is the host of Boryeong Mud Festival, and the festival is funded by grants from corporate sponsors. That's why the city could invite the two most popular k-pop stars.

Well, do you want to go to Boryeong Mud Festival? The festival will be held from July 21-30, and below is the introduction about the festival.

Of the numerous festivals in Korea, Boryeong Mud Festival attracts the largest number of international visitors. During the festival period, tourists flock to the area to experience the benefits of Boryeong's mud while having a blast. Fully immersed in both the mud and the festival’s great atmosphere, visitors enjoy mud wrestling, mud sliding and even swimming in the giant mud bath. Visitors feeling particularly energetic can try the marine mud-training course, whilse those looking for something more relaxing can chill in the mud massage zone. In the evening, music and fireworks continue to have the party going at the beach.
