On June 3, Highlight held a press conference at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. Check out what the 5 members talked about their first ever exclusive concert as Highlight.
Q. So, it's your first ever exclusive concert since you changed your team name into Highlight.
Doojoon: Yeah, it reminds me of old memories because we held our first ever exclusive concert right here years ago. I'm thankful for everything.
Q. What do you think is the biggest difference between holding your concerts as BEAST and Highlight?
Dongwoon: When we were BEAST, we focused on showing new performances. And we showed various solo performances too. But as Highlight, we want to show our performance as a 5-member group.
Junhyung: In the old days, we sang many calm songs. But, as Highlight, we'll perform a variety of exciting and cheerful songs. I hope you're excited.
Q. You've recently released your new album "Calling you".
Junhyung: It's our first ever repackage album, and we included easy listening music in the album. I hope you enjoy it.
Q. How have you been since you left Cube Entertainment?
Dongwoon: As we made a fresh start, we're trying hard to maintain our original intention. Even though we're lacking a lot of things, we will do our best. Please support us.
Junhyung: We had many worries about our future, but the difficulties pushed us to support and encourage one another. And I'm so thankful that so many fans are still supporting us even though we changed our team name.
Doojoon: It's true we feel pressured to do better than BEAST, but I know we can't do all the things in a brief time. We'll do it together with our fans and our agency.
Yoseob: I'm happy that we made a comeback and could meet many fans, but it's true that we were not good enough because it was our first comeback after leaving Cube Entertainment. We'll try harder to do better job.
Gikwang: It's true we were worried when we left Cube Entertainment. However, I think the most important thing is that we're together.
Q. How much did you prepare for your concert?
Yoseob: We gave our first show yesterday, but it was not good enough. That's why we had an urgent meeting till late at night to make better show.
Q. What's your goal?
Gikwang: Personally, I hope we will surpass BEAST. Even though it has not been long since we changed our team name, we'll try our best in various fields. I hope you're satisfied with our concert.
Q. Tell me about your future plan.
Junhyung: After finishing our concert in Seoul, we'll visit as many countries as possible. I can't tell you about specific plans yet, but we know there are a lot of fans who are waiting for us.
