EXO has successfully finished its third world tour. From May 27-28, the boy group held "EXO PLANET #3 - The EXO'rDIUM [dot] -" at the main Olympic Stadium in Jamsil. Actually, the fact that EXO held its concert at the Olympic Stadium means a lot.
Top class k-pop idol groups usually hold their concerts at the Gymnastics Stadium in Olympic Park because it is considered as the biggest indoor concert hall in Korea. The Gymnastics Stadium can accommodate 10,000 to 15,000 audiences. But, the main Olympic Stadium in Jamsil is bigger than that. it can accommodate 35,000 audiences, while legendary domestic and foreign musicians such as Cho Yong Pil, Lee Seung Hwan, Lee Seung Chul, Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Elton John and Paul McCartney held their concerts there. Among k-pop idol groups, H.O.T and god, icons of the era performed at the main Olympic Stadium in Jamsil.
So, by holding its concert at the main Olympic Stadium in Jamsil, EXO proved that the group is the icon of the era who can rank with legendary musicians I mentioned above.
EXO's concert was great. EXO performed a total of 31 songs including its hits such as "Growl", "Overdose", "Love Me Right", "Monster" and "Call me baby". Even though they performed for about 3 hours, their performance was energetic, powerful and passionate to the end. Especially, Kai electrified his fans by taking off his shirt and showing off his perfect abs. :)
And EXO gave hints about its upcoming new album too. Check out what Baekhyun talked about their comeback.
We're ready to make a comeback in this summer. You say "Deo Weo(더워, it's hot in Korean)" in summer, right? Yeah, "The War". It's the hint. I'm sorry that we have wrap up our third world tour, but you will be able to see our great stuff soon again. I'm sure you'll be surprised because we'll show a different side of ourselves. Before holding the concert, the EXO members held a press conference. Check out what they talked about their world tour too.

"Do k-pop idols really sing live? It's not an easy question to answer because the answer to the question could be both yes and no. Well, I want to talk about details about k-pop idols' live performance on the stage. Have you heard about MR, AR, LMR, and LAR? If you get to know about these terms, you will be able to have a good understanding of k-pop idols' live performance." MR(Music Recorded) Basically, MR means instrumental accompaniment. Have you been to karaoke? MR is like karaoke music which doesn’t contain the sound of singer’s voice. However, there is no k-pop idol who uses such a clear MR, while all the k-pop idols’ MR contains sounds of their voices. Before performing their songs on k-pop chart shows, k-pop idols should make their MR, and the way how they make MR is to decrease the sound volume of their voices in original music, while keeping the sound volume of instrumental accompaniment as it is. So, to k-pop idols, singing to MR doesn’t j...
Have you ever been curious about k-pop idols' microphones? Unless you are a professional, it’s difficult to know the details about the microphones. However, there’s a very simple way to make a guess at what kind of microphone your favorite idol star uses. Well, the way is to classify the microphones by their colors. Colors of microphones do not always mean everything, but like I said, you can at least make a guess at what kind of microphones those are. Flesh-Colored Microphone You might see the flesh-colored microphones frequently in various k-pop chart shows. Those are the basic microphones offered by the broadcasting company. People in the k-pop world usually call it "Band-Aid." The microphone is cheap, and it doesn't perform well. However, it doesn't matter because not a few incompetent idols depend on their AR and just pretend to sing live. Black Microphone The black microphone is not offered by the broadcasting company. If an idol group's...

1988–2009: Early life and debut G-Dragon began his career at age five as part of the group Little Roo Ra. After releasing a Christmas album, the group's contract was terminated by their record company, which came as a shock to G-Dragon. After then, he was scouted by SM Entertainment while on a ski trip with his family. He was a trainee under the record label for five years, specializing in dance before he left, unclear about what he wanted to do. In third grade, G-Dragon was introduced to the American rap group Wu-Tang Clan by a friend. Inspired by their music, he developed an interest in rapping and began taking classes. Under People Crew's tutelage, he participated in the release of the Korean hip-hop album Flex in 2001, becoming the youngest Korean rapper at just 13 years old. Although he wrote his own lyrics, he admitted that his English was weak and the story behind the lyrics was just another typical "I'm young, but I'm the best." Additionall...
