AOA Celebrates its Second Anniversary


AOA celebrated its second anniversary.

On August 9, celebrating their second anniversary, the AOA members had a party and stated, "Thanks to your love, we could celebrate our second anniversary. We want to be together with you for many years to come."

Seolhyun, who is currently filming her movie 'Gangnam Blues', couldn't attend the party because of her tight schedules.

Meanwhile, AOA debuted in 2012 and has gained popularity by releasing its hits such as 'Elvis', 'Get out', 'MOYA', 'Confused', 'Miniskirt', and 'Short hair'. The girl group will make a debut in Japan in October with its Japanese debut single 'Miniskirt'.

1988–2009: Early life and debut G-Dragon began his career at age five as part of the group Little Roo Ra. After releasing a Christmas album, the group's contract was terminated by their record company, which came as a shock to G-Dragon. After then, he was scouted by SM Entertainment while on a ski trip with his family. He was a trainee under the record label for five years, specializing in dance before he left, unclear about what he wanted to do. In third grade, G-Dragon was introduced to the American rap group Wu-Tang Clan by a friend. Inspired by their music, he developed an interest in rapping and began taking classes.
