Girls' Generation Tops 'M Countdown' Soon After its Comeback


Girls' Generation(SNSD) topped Mnet's 'M Countdown' soon after making a comeback with its new song 'Mr. Mr.'.

On the stage of 'M Countdown' aired on March 6, Girls' Generation was awarded first prize, pushing CN Blue back to second place.

Seohyun said "As having been preparing for the album, we had ups and downs. Thank our fans for waiting, and we will reward them with good performance and music."

At the show, Girls' Generation performed two songs from its latest album. The girls showed off their lovely charm by performing 'Wait a minute', and transformed into mannish girls through the performance of 'Mr. Mr.'.



Meanwhile, 'Mr. Mr.' is a dance music that has attractive R&B sounds. The song is produced by The Underdogs who has worked with famous pop stars like Beyonce and Justin Timberlake.

The Korean hip hop duo that consists of Choiza and Gaeko is regarded as the representative hip hop artist in Korea, while the two met in the 6th grade of elementary school and have a long standing history of being friends.
