They kicked off the world tour by holding "SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI IN SEOUL" on July 8, while they gave their shows in Osaka, Japan from July 15-16 too. They'll visit Tokyo on July 27. On July 8, SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR VI in SEOUL held at at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in Sangam, Seoul. A variety of SM artists including TVXQ Yunho, BoA, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet and NCT took part in the concert, while a total of 45,000 fans gathered to watch the concert. On November 22, Girls' Generation held its exclusive concert  at the Gymnastics Stadium in Olympic Park in Seoul. At the concert, Girls' Generation electrified audience by performing a total of 26 songs including its hits such as 'Gee', 'Run Devil Run', 'Mr. Mr,', and 'Lion Heart'. B y holding this concert, the girl group became the first kpop girl group who held four exclusive concerts in Korea. On October 18, 'SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV in SHANGHAI' was held in Shanghai, China, while various SM artists including Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet, Henry, Zhoumi, and Zhang Li Yin performed more than 60 songs, electrifying 30,000 fans. At the concert, the SM artists who have been gaining great popularity in China, sang their various Chinese songs, while the artists also showed unique collaborative performances. From October 4-5, 'SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV in TOKYO' was held at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, Japan, while a variety of SM entertainment's artists such as Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet and J-Min took part in the show. Through the two-day concert, the SM artists drew a total of 120,000 audience, raising the total audience for SMTOWN LIVE to 1 million. Since it was kicked off in 2008, SMTOWN LIVE has been held in principal cities of the world such as Seoul, New York, LA, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, and Singapore.
