Wanna One's Kang Daniel and Ong Seongwoo receiving love calls from numerous Korean dramas

This may not be surprising news, but there's fierce competition among Korean dramas to cast Wanna One's Kang Daniel and Ong Seungwoo.

According to people in the Korean drama industry, the two handsome idol stars are receiving love calls from numerous dramas. There are some reasons for it.

First, no doubt, they're two of the most popular idol stars now, and dramas always need popular idols like them for their high ratings and overseas export.

Second, the two are considered as being most qualified to be actors among Wanna One members because they're handsome and tall. Of course, the other members are talented and good looking too, but people in the Korean drama industry say the two stars' appearances are most suitable for dramas.


Third, sadly, Wanna One's contract will expire soon and each member will return to their agencies, which means they will have much time to do their individual activities. Even though there's a good chance that Kang Daniel will debut as a solo singer, he will act too, and people in the Korean drama industry also know it. In case of Ong Seungwoo, there's a good chance that he will be very active as an actor rather than as a singer. You know, Fantagio, home to the idol star, has drama stars such as Seo Kangjoon and Cha Eunwoo and will give full support to him.

Fourth, lots of school dramas will air in Korea in 2019. School dramas need young and handsome actors, but they don't want to take risk by casting young but unknown actors. Kang Daniel and Ong Seungwoo already have many fans, and they have good acting talent too, which means there's no reason not to cast them.

It's sad that Wanna One's contract will expire soon, but I truly wish a bright future for each member. And well, I think I don't have to worry about them because they're receiving love calls from various fields now and it seems their success is guaranteed.
