Yoona's challenge and SM's smart strategy


Good news for Yoona's fans. The Girls' Generation member will release her new solo song "You are my star" on September 8. You know, it's not her first time to release her solo song. Last year, she released "Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway" and the song was well received by people. Are you looking forward to the female idol star's new solo song?

By the way, there are a few things we need to talk about Yoona's comeback as a solo singer. No doubt, Yoona is one of the most famous k-pop idols, and she's been active as an actress too. She's currently appearing in her drama "The king loves", and yeah, she doing good. Actually, just like most of the other experienced k-pop idols do, she can just continue her career by appearing in various dramas if she wants. She is a very famous idol star, and there are so many broadcasting companies which want to cast her as the leading actress of their dramas, which means she doesn't need to challenge.


Think about it. She's not a lead vocal of Girls' Generation, and it can't be said that she has outstanding ability in singing, which means releasing her solo song could be a big challenge for me. However, she is not the one who wants any complacency, and it's remarkable that she's trying new things again and again even though she is already a top class idol star.


And of course, Yoona didn't make a decision to release her solo song alone. SM Entertainment, the biggest and most influential k-pop agency has been drawing up a project for Yoona's solo song. And I want to say that SM's strategy is very smart. Yoona will released not only a Korean version of her new solo song but also a Chinese version of the song. You know, Yoona has been gaining huge popularity in China, and yeah, the Chinese version of her new song will be sure to be a success in the country. And after making success of the song, Yoona will be able to be active in the Chinese entertainment world, gaining great popularity and making a lot of money. SM is looking at the big picture.

Anyway, I can't wait to listen to Yoona's new solo song, and I hope the pretty and good-natured idol star will achieve a great success.
