"Do k-pop idols really sing live? It's not an easy question to answer because the answer to the question could be both yes and no. Well, I want to talk about details about k-pop idols' live performance on the stage. Have you heard about MR, AR, LMR, and LAR? If you get to know about these terms, you will be able to have a good understanding of k-pop idols' live performance." MR(Music Recorded) Basically, MR means instrumental accompaniment. Have you been to karaoke? MR is like karaoke music which doesn’t contain the sound of singer’s voice. However, there is no k-pop idol who uses such a clear MR, while all the k-pop idols’ MR contains sounds of their voices. 1988–2009: Early life and debut G-Dragon began his career at age five as part of the group Little Roo Ra. After releasing a Christmas album, the group's contract was terminated by their record company, which came as a shock to G-Dragon. After then, he was scouted by SM Entertainment while on a ski trip with his family. He was a trainee under the record label for five years, specializing in dance before he left, unclear about what he wanted to do. In third grade, G-Dragon was introduced to the American rap group Wu-Tang Clan by a friend. Inspired by their music, he developed an interest in rapping and began taking classes. Under People Crew's tutelage, he participated in the release of the Korean hip-hop album Flex in 2001, becoming the youngest Korean rapper at just 13 years old. Although he wrote his own lyrics, he admitted that his English was weak and the story behind the lyrics was just another typical "I'm young, but I'm the best." Additionall...
During the early days of BIGBANG’s career, the team was marketed predominately as a hip-hop group, but the 5-member group and G-Dragon went on to experiment with electronic music and setting it as the new music trend in Korea. And during the production for the collaboration album GD & TOP and his solo album, G-Dragon opted for a more hip-hop sound. As a musician, G-Dragon covers various genres of music. For example, G-Dragon incorporated a mix of dance, hip-hop, and R&B songs into “Heartbreaker”. And his second album, “Coup d'Etat” is noted for being an eclectic mix of hip-hop, dubstep, rock, electro, and pop. The more amazing fact is that G-Dragon’s music has not only highly artistic quality but also great popular appeal. That’s why he has been widely recognized as one of the best hip-hop musicians and k-pop idols. By covering a variety of genres of music and making musical materials which have great popular appeal, G-Dragon played a leading role in popularizi...

Then, why do you think SISTAR decided to disband the team even though the team is stil considered as one of the most popular k-pop girl groups? Well, let's see why k-pop idols leave their groups first. There are 7 reasons. 1. Financial Difficulty of Their Companies It costs a fabulous sum of money for k-pop agencies to produce idol groups.
