EXO Thrills 100,000 Fans in Japan through Fan Meeting Event


EXO has successfully finished its first official event in Japan.

EXO held its fan meeting event 'EXO Greeting Party in Japan Hello!' at the Saitama super arena in Japan from April 11 to 13. Through 5 times of shows, the group drew 100,000 fans, leaving a deep impression upon Japanese fans.

It is exceptional for a Kpop boy group who had not officially debuted in the country to hold such a large-scale fan meeting event.

At the event, EXO performed a total of 9 songs including its hits such as 'Growl', 'MAMA', 'Wolf' and 'Miracles in December'. The members communicated with audiences in Japanese and had a special time with the fans.


Katsue, an 11-year-old girl who came with her older sister, said, "I'm so happy to see the group's live performance. The members looked much cooler in the flesh than on Youtube. I could hear from each of the members through the talk session," while Daiske, 18, who came with two other friends, stated, "EXO's choreography is covered in school festivals. The group shows gorgeous performance and I really admire that kind of performance."
Meanwhile, EXO will hold its comeback show at Jamsil Gymnasium in Seoul and will perform its newest song 'Overdose' for the first time on April 15.
