SEVENTEEN enjoyed great popularity with its new song "Don't Wanna Cry" in May. But, as you may know, there was a plagiarism controversy over the song. Sports Seoul has recently conducted its 32nd anniversary special survey of k-pop agency officials. A total of 32 people who are working for famous k-pop agencies such as SM, YG, JYP, FNC and Starship took part in the survey, and they answered to questions such as "Who is the most influential person in the kpop world?", "Who is the best music producer?", "Who is the best k-pop boy group?", "Who is the best k-pop girl group?", "Who is the best male solo singer?", "Who is the best female solo singer? and "Who is the most promising idol group?". SEVENTEEN became one of the three k-pop boy groups who are ranked on the top 10 on the all-time first week album sales chart. According to Hanteo on May 29, SEVENTEEN's 4th mini album "Al1" sold over 192,399 copies in the first week, which have increased by about 60,000 copies compared to the group's previous album "Going Seventeen" that was released in December, 2016. EXO is still maintaining the top spot on the all-time first week album sales chart, showing off its remarkable sales record, 522,300 copies, while BTS is ranked at no.2 and no.3 with its albums "You Never Walk Alone" and "WINGS". SEVENTEEN is ranked at no.10 with "Al1", entering the top 10 of the chart for the first time since its debut.
