Tablo says warmth and coldness co-exist in IU's voice


Epik High is back. The hip hop group released its new album "We've done something wonderful" on October 23, while it's notable that famous k-pop star IU is featured as a singer in the title track "Love Story". As expected, Epik High and IU topped a variety of online music charts, enjoying great popularity.

By the way, aren't you curious about how IU took part in the song? Well, here's a story behind it. On October 24, Epik High gave an interview to various Korean media outlets and talked about IU's participation in its new album. Check out what Epik High's Tablo said.


We have had some songs which we wanted IU to be featured in, but we weren't sure we could get a positive answer from her. That's why our collaborative projects have foundered. By the way, she called us one day and asked us to perform at her concert. So, we sang hard there, and we asked her to be featured in our new song in front of her fans. Personally, I'm a fan of IU. Her voice is very warm when she sings warm songs but in some ways, her voice is very cold. Warmth and coldness co-exist in her voice, and that's why I think she's a really attractive person. I thought "Love Story" is a song that really fits her voice because the song is about love, which is a heart-warming theme, but the lyrics include some cold words.

What Dynamic Duo Achieved Other Than The Scandal with Sulli

Dynamic Duo released its new album. The Korean hip hop duo that consists of Choiza and Gaeko is regarded as the representative hip hop artist in Korea, while the two met in the 6th grade of elementary school and have a long standing history of being friends. Choiza and Gaeko started to work together through an underground hip hop scene named CB Mass and then came to establish Dynamic Duo in 2003.
