Evidences that TVXQ is still alive

TVXQ is a 14th-year group, and it seems like not a few k-pop fans think the group has become obsolete. Well, it's true it has been a long time since they debuted and there are so many young boy groups these days who are having their heydays. However, there are some evidences that TVXQ is still alive.

TVXQ's Yunho has recently been chosen as a new model for Jeju air. According to the company, they chose him as their new model because they wanted to spread their influence in the Japanese market. Well, do you know who've worked as models for the company before Yunho? Those are Kim Soohyun and Song Joogki. No doubt, the two are the most popular Korean actress who are having their heydays, and what do you think it means? Yeah, TVXQ is still as influential and popular as Kim Soohyun and Song Joongki at least in Japan. You know, TVXQ has achieved a lot of things in the country, and the group still has many Japanese fans.

Actually, in the entertainment world, money is sometimes everything. And companies never spend their money if they don't think it's going to benefit them, which means they do not choose just anybody as their model. So, the fact that Yunho has been chosen as a new model for Jeju air means he's still has high commercial value.

And it's also notable that Yunho has been chosen to act the main role in a drama "Meloholic". You know, he was cast in the lead role although there are a lot of young and handsome actors. Do you remember Yunho's previous drama "Journal of the Night Watchmen" aired in 2014? He appeared in the drama just before joining the army, but he did great in the drama. That's why Song Hyun Wook, the director of "Meloholic" who's directed various popular dramas such as "Another Miss Oh" and "Introvert Boss" hoped to work with him.

Changmin will be discharged from military in August, and people in the k-pop world are now expecting that TVXQ will enjoy a renaissance. There are some reasons for it. First, TVXQ has solid singing and dancing skills, which means the two members are still very competitive in the k-pop world even though they're older than young idols. Second, both of them are good-natured and they don't have any enemies in the industry. Third, the fact that both of them have completed military service means a lot. In Korea, it is hard for us to think of any issue hotter than the military because there have been so many power elites who dodged military service. So, it's expected that the two members, who've finished their military duty will be loved not only by female fans but also by a lot of male fans.
