A vehicle in BLACKPINK's MV turned out to be illegally smuggled


Have you watched BLACKPINK's music video of "Whistle"? The MV is very sophisticated. However, the vehicle in the MV turned out to be illegally smuggled, according to the police. Oh, don't get me wrong. It's not YG or BLACKPINK's fault.

It is forbidden to import luxurious classic vehicles in Korea because such vehicles' exhaust systems are too old. However, smugglers were easily able to circumvent the law. They've smuggled a total of 150 vehicles from Japan for 5 years and sold them at a high price, while some of the vehicles were used as props in MVs and CFs. The police booked the smugglers without detention.

The Korean hip hop duo that consists of Choiza and Gaeko is regarded as the representative hip hop artist in Korea, while the two met in the 6th grade of elementary school and have a long standing history of being friends.
