What Hyuna should prove through her comeback

The sexy queen is coming back. Female kpop star Hyuna will release her new solo album on August 1, while it will be her first album since the rest three members of 4minute decided to leave the team in June. Well, I think there are so many fans who are really looking forward to Hyuna's new album, but she has several things to prove through her comeback.

Can she do it alone?
Of course, Hyuna has already released a few solo albums before 4minute was disbanded. And she's achieved a big success. However, all the kpop singers who debut as solo singers after breaking away from their teams feel enormous pressure. You know, they should prove that they can do it by themselves. Hyuna is no exception.

She is no more 4minute's Hyuna. She's just Hyuna and should show own musical characteristics as a solo singer. It seems like she will be able to achieve a success with her solo album considering her popularity and people's great interest in her new album, but nothing in life is certain.

Is she really a "singer"?
Yeah, this is an old debate about Hyuna. Do you think she really is a "singer"? I don't think all the singers should sing like great vocalists such as Lee Sun Hee and Lim Jae Bum. The problem is that Hyuna has never shown her own thoughts or philosophies about music through her albums.(I consider other sexy stars like Lee Hyori and Uhm Jung Hwa as great singers)

She released her song "Red" in 2014, and I'm sure all of you have listened to the song. Well, throughout the song, all she talks about is that she is sexy. She sings and raps, "I'm sexy, I'm sexy, I'm sexy." She should show something else through her new solo album if she wants to prove that she really is a singer.

Is Cube Entertainment OK?
You know, Cube Entertainment has recently experienced internal troubles, while the agency's former chairman Hong Seung Sung decided to leave the company. In this situation, Hyuna should prove that Cube Entertainment is OK as the representative idol star of the company.

As you may already know, on July 26, Cube Entertainment announced that Hyuna's going to kick off her first ever solo Asia tour in September. What do you think this means? Hyuna is so popular and she wants to meet with many fans in foreign countries? Yes, yes. But from the point of view of Cube Entertainment, it will be a great chance to show off its undiminished strength because Hyuna's Asia tour is a lucrative thing.
