Total Audience for SMTOWN LIVE Tops 1 million


Total audience for SMTOWN LIVE has topped 1 million.

From October 4-5, 'SMTOWN LIVE WORLD TOUR IV in TOKYO' was held at Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo, Japan, while a variety of SM entertainment's artists such as Kangta, BoA, TVXQ, Super Junior, Girls' Generation, SHINee, f(x), EXO, Red Velvet and J-Min took part in the show.

Through the two-day concert, the SM artists drew a total of 120,000 audience, raising the total audience for SMTOWN LIVE to 1 million. Since it was kicked off in 2008, SMTOWN LIVE has been held in principal cities of the world such as Seoul, New York, LA, Paris, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Bangkok, and Singapore.


At the concert held in Tokyo, the SM artists performed their various hits including their Japanese songs, while the artists' special collaborative performances were also shown. The performances were enough to fascinate numerous Japanese fans.

Even though the show was SMTOWN's largest scale concert of all time in the country, there still were so many fans who couldn't get the tickets, and the performance was broadcast live in 135 theaters located around the nation. A total of 100,000 fans could enjoy the performance through movie screens.
