Kpop Idol Stars' Correct Way to Spend Big Money

Idol stars enjoy immense public popularity and it leads to immense income. There are many stars who get hold of a large sum of money. Miss A's Suzy, who is one of the most popular female Kpop idol stars, made more than 9 million dollars in 2013.

However, some of the stars fall into evil ways, being stuck up by their success. They spend money like water and become bankrupt overnight.

But there still are idol stars who exactly know the correct way to spend big money, giving people their love back. Let's talk about mature idol stars.

Kpop Idol Star's Donation
Suzy made a donation of 50 million won(about 50,000 dollars) to support the victims of the Sewol ferry tragedy. (Hundreds of high school students were killed or remain missing in the ferry sinking off the southern coast of Korea, occurred on April 16, 2014. Only 179 of 475 passengers and crew were rescued.)

She also donated 5 million won(about 5,000 dollars) for children with cancer, greeting children's day. She donates millions of won each year to support children with cancer.

After School's U-IE donated 30 million won(about 30,000 dollars) for the victims of the Sewol ferry tragedy, while 2PM's Junho donated the same amount of money and MBLAQ's Lee Joon donated 10 million won(about 10,000 dollars).

Change of Kpop Agencies' Management System
Well, you can say the change of Kpop agencies' management system had a decisive effect on idol stars' correct way to spend big money.

In the past, Kpop trainee only needed to have singing and dancing ability to make a debut as a professional singer. However, things are changed. Agencies emphasize humanistic education and the trainees have to have a variety of personality educations.

Even if a trainee has an outstanding singing ability, he can't be chosen by agency if he doesn't have upright character. Some of the trainees are often expelled from agency due to wrong doings.

For this reason, since their trainee period, Kpop idols have been accustomed to be concerned about people who are in difficult situations.

The Reason Why They Want to Hide Donation
There is something in common among the idol stars who donated for the victims of the Sewol ferry tragedy. They hid the fact that they donated and it became known to people late in the day. Even their agencies didn't know about the donation. They used their real name when they donated.

The reason why the idol stars try to hide their donation is that there are wrongheaded views on the stars' donation among people. Some of netizens hassle over the stars' amount of donation and slander the stars who donated less money than expected.

As you know, it's the thought that counts, not the amount of donation. Many Kpop idols now have a lot of sadness about the Sewol ferry tragedy.
