'92 Line' Taking the Lead in the World of Kpop

Recently, '92 Line' is taking the lead in the world of Kpop. The Kpop singers who were born in 1992, are distinguishing themselves through a variety of Kpop charts and TV programs. Then, what do you think is the reason for it?

Sunmi and Soyou: "I can do it for myself"
The former Wonder Girls' member Sunmi released her new song 'Full Moon' in February 2014. It is receiving an enthusiastic response. Sunmi took the first place of SBS' 'Inkigayo' that was aired on March2, for the first time since her solo debut in 2013.

Sunmi was moved to tears, stating "I think I always have been at second place. Thank you all for this wonderful award."

Sistar's Soyou, a Kpop star of same age, has dominated online music charts. A duet song 'Some' sung by Soyou and Junggigo has been remaining at the top of various charts. It seems that 'Some' is the song without equal, and Soyou is on a roll.

There is a common ground between Sunmi and Soyou. Getting out of their teams, the two are giving off unusual charms that have not been shown before.

A variety experiences on the stage as the members of their teams had a strong effect on their success too. Sunmi debuted as a member of Wonder Girls in 2007, and Sistar made a debut in 2010. Both of them were teenage girls at that time, but after accumulating diverse experiences, they are captivating people's hearts as women in their early twenties.

Baro and Chen: "Balance of Purity and Maturity"
B1A4's Baro has jumped to stardom by appearing in tvN's drama 'Reply 1994' that was aired in 2013. He played the character Binggrae who is a medical college freshman. In early 2014, he was among the most popular with B1A4's hit 'Lonely', and is now appearing in SBS' drama 'A present of God', maintaining his activity as an actor.

EXO's Chen also stands out among young Kpop stars. He shot to stardom in the world of Kpop with the group's hits such as 'Wolf' and 'Growl'. In early 2014, he participated in SM the Ballad's new album. He showed off as impressive singing skills as his senior singers like SHINee's Jonghyun and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon through the album.

Baro and Chen's strong point is that they have both purity and maturity. As young men in their early twenties, they are giving off various charms. And this is shaking fans' hearts.

Sohee and Lee Seung Hoon: "A bright future lies ahead of me"
Another former Wonder Girls' member Sohee declared her new start in 2014. After the termination of contract with JYP Entertainment, she moved to BH Entertainment. Now, she is preparing for her full-scale activities as an actress after becoming a label mate of famous Korean actors and actresses such as Lee Byung Hun, Go Soo and Han Hyo Joo.

She has gained recognition as a promising actress through KBS' 'Drama special' that was aired in 2013, and has been at the center of the entertainment industry. In the long term, there is a good possibility for her to become a top actress.

Here is another '92 Line' star. It's Lee Seung Hoon who made a impressive appearance in SBS' audition program 'Kpop Star 2' that was aired in 2011. He made a contract with YG Entertainment, home to Psy, Big Bang and 2NE1, and is preparing for his debut as a member of new boy group with other members Kang Seung Yoon, Kim Jin Woo, Song Min Ho and Nam Tae Hyun. It has been 8 years for YG to produce its new boy group since Big Bang's debut in 2006.

YG is giving full support to Winner, and the group is enlarging its experience by coming on the stage of Big Bang and 2NE1's concerts as a guest.
